Confident Career Launch Cohort
Turn Potential Into a Plan
Early-career professionals are entering one of the most competitive job markets in decades, and many are navigating it with minimal, generic support.
At many universities, a single career services professional is responsible for 1,500 to 2,000 students or more. Even the best-staffed offices have an average of just seven full-time advisors. That means most students only get quick résumé edits or job-board alerts, not the kind of strategic, personalized coaching that helps them stand out.
That’s where this program comes in.
I’ve coached C-suite leaders on career strategy, branding, and LinkedIn presence for over a decade. The Confident Career Launch Cohort brings that same level of rigor and insight to an early-career audience in a small-group experience designed to help you position yourself, communicate your value, and launch your career with clarity and confidence.
What You’ll Gain
By the end of this program, you’ll have:
A résumé aligned to real job descriptions
A LinkedIn profile that reflects your strengths and gets found
A straightforward value proposition and target role strategy
A plan to close skill gaps and highlight transferable strengths
Confidence to move from applying reactively to acting intentionally
How It Works
One pre-work video
Four 1-hour live Zoom video sessions
Small-group (max 15). Real accountability.

This cohort is for early-career professionals - whether you’re looking for your first internship, finishing college, recently graduated, or in your first few years of work and ready for a reset. It’s designed for people who want to move beyond job boards and create a clear, proactive career strategy.
-
You’re welcome here. Lots of people have a job, but haven’t yet landed their “thing”. If you want to refine your résumé, LinkedIn, or networking approach to prepare for what’s next, these sessions and tools will help you reposition your experience for your next step.
-
Most career services offices are stretched thin, often one advisor for every 1,500–2,000 students, which means most people only get reactive, transactional help.
This program gives you what those systems can’t: personalized, strategic coaching from someone who works with C-suite leaders on career branding and positioning. You’ll learn the same frameworks I use with executives, adapted for your stage of career. -
Each live session is 60 minutes. Plan for an additional 1-2 hours between sessions to work on your résumé, LinkedIn, or exercises. Your effort between classes will dictate how much you take away from this experience.
-
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours, so you can revisit the material anytime during the cohort.
-
Yes! You’ll take your materials to the next level. We’ll focus on aligning your résumé and LinkedIn presence to the roles you actually want, improving clarity, impact, and keyword optimization so hiring managers quickly see your value.
-
You’ll have direct access to me during each 1-hour live session and via email throughout the program. You will also have the opportunity to submit your résumé and/or LinkedIn for personalized feedback.
-
You’ll need Zoom for live sessions and access to Google Docs or Word for editing résumé templates. A LinkedIn account is required for Session 3.
-
That’s okay. You’ll still benefit from clarifying your strengths, building your professional brand, and learning how to position yourself when you are ready. The tools you’ll build, like a résumé, LinkedIn, and roadmap, will serve you whenever you start your search.
-
Your support means a lot! This experience is designed for the participant to take ownership. The goal is for each student or early-career professional to challenge themselves, make independent decisions, and build the confidence that comes from doing the work themselves.
You’re welcome to encourage, celebrate progress, and ask about what they’re learning; however, all sessions, assignments, and communication occur directly between the participant and me. Independence is a key outcome of the program and an integral part of the growth process.
